Matemilano was at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia "Leonardo da Vinci" from 12 September 2003 to 30 May 2004.

Matemilano is an interactive exhibition whose goal is to introduce all kinds of visitors - students especially - to mathematics, beginning from ideas coming out from the town itself and from its region.
The exhibition is conceived as an itinerary that starts with some views on the use of mathematics in Milan inhabitants job and then develop itself in four fields - maxima and minima, visualisation, topology, symmetry - by means of interactive exibits that lead people "to experience mathematics".
The tables of experiments are supplied with reports, posters, multimedia and videos to investigate the matter; topics are discussed to point out mathematical links between different fields and different experiences.
